The art of finding inspiration in the ordinary.
“Remember that time we were stuck at home and we watched Frozen 2 and had picnics every day?” I’m hoping that someday, when my daughter asks me to remember this time, I will remember those small things that we did every day. While I am birthing this little blog during the great quarantine of 2020, the concept is one that I’ve been thinking about for quite some time.
As a new mom, I found myself lost. Lost in the minutiae of everything newborn. Lost and wondering “who am I now?” One day I had a realization that yes, things were different but I can fit into this new pair of shoes (just like those jeans, things just shifted around a little bit). So, I began a journey to embrace the ordinary, to become more intentional about expecting to see glory in the world, expecting to be inspired by little moments.
That’s where this blog comes in. I knew I couldn’t be the only one walking through this space. So, I decided to share my journey. I hope that what you find here inspires you, makes you laugh, and hopefully helps you to see that you’re not alone and that we’re in this together. Come on in, my door is always open.
